Is Home Study Only Right for You?
Our Home Study Only program is for families who already have an adoption plan but need a licensed agency to complete the required home study process.You may need a home study if you're working with a national adoption program, an adoption attorney, or another placing agency. We also work with families pursuing independent adoptions, kinship adoptions, relative adoptions, and families who have already matched with an expectant parent.

What Is a Home Study?
A home study is a required part of every adoption. The home study process gives your social worker the opportunity to get to know your family, help you prepare for adoption, and make sure your home meets state requirements. Your home study includes home visits, interviews, background checks, collection of required paperwork, adoption education, and a home safety assessment. Once everything is complete, your social worker prepares your home study report, allowing you to move forward in your adoption journey. Our team is here to answer questions, provide guidance, and make the process as smooth as possible.

Schedule an informational call to answer questions.

When prompted, submit your application.

Wait for an invitation to join our Waiting Family pool.

Your home study packet will be sent, and you begin collecting necessary documents.

Complete your home visits, interviews, background checks, and required training.

Your social worker drafts up your report and finalizes your home study.

You are now ready to be matched with a child.

Once your child is placed in your home, we'll provide the required post-placement supervision and reports needed for finalization.
