Choice Adoptions is a licensed adoption agency in Oregon and Washington. We have several programs available to match children and families. Our goal is to help children find safe, loving, and permanent homes while providing support to everyone involved in the adoption journey. We believe in open adoption and in creating adoption plans that prioritize the best interests of children while honoring the needs of birth and adoptive families.

Choice offers several pathways to help families grow through adoption. Learn about each of your options below.
Local Infant Adoption
Our Local Infant Adoption Program connects waiting families with expectant parents generally in Oregon or Washington. Families receive guidance and support throughout the adoption process, from application to the post-placement and beyond. Every birth parent has an advocate who walks alongside them during their adoption journey as is a designated support person throughout the whole adoption process.
National Infant Adoption
Through partnerships with adoption agencies and professionals across the country, our National Infant Adoption Program expands adoption opportunities for waiting families. This program allows approved families to be presented to expectant parents who are working with our partner agencies nationwide. You must be working in our Local Program to apply for this option.
Foster Child Adoption
Choice partners with The Department of Human Resources in Oregon to help adoption eligible children in foster care find permanent families. Foster child adoption can be a meaningful way to provide stability, connection, and lifelong support to a child in need of a permanent home.

Independent Adoption Services
For families who already have an adoption opportunity identified or only need specific adoption services, Choice can still help! Our Independent Adoption Program is for families who plan to self match with a birth parent and child or who are working with another placing agency. We offer relinquishment counseling, home study services, all options counseling, post placement support and a variety of other services for families in our Independent Adoption Program.
